- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Press the meatloaf mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.
- Cook macaroni and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour, then gradually add milk to make a cheese sauce.
- Mix cooked macaroni with cheese sauce and spread over the meatloaf layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
